Denim

Denim is never out. But now it comes again, in addition to the classic jeans that each of us have in our closet, in the form of other garments: as a shirt, tunic, dress or jumpsuit. This season it is carried gracefully and clean. Different denim colours and garments can be combined with each other from head to toe. Who wants to have a more casual look takes a skinny jeans, a Blaser and a nice bag. For accessories, everything is permitted, from chic to sporty – you can decide.

I had a look around and found especially nice shirts and jackets – even for the men’s world.

Pencilskirts

He emphasizes the female character and is therefore totally feminine and of course also sexy. We know it as a classic business look, but now the pencilskirt is discovered with bright colors, bold patterns and other materials. Therefore the pencilskirt may not be absent in your wardrobe. In the new variations it is really suitable for all types and can be worn in almost all situations.

With the pencilskirt, all the new trends, such as pastel, pattern or even jeans are taken up. You should wear it with high shoes (pumps) so that your legs look even longer (additionally caused by the high waist). For the brave ones: you can show some skin with short tops.

Good night?

“No, I don’t want to go to bed and I’m not exactly out of bed.” You have to expect to give this answer a couple of times, if you join this trend: pajama pants.

I’ve read about it last year and to be honest: I was very surprised. After read about it a second time, I think it’s important to pick up this issue.

So the pajama pants are worn really on the street. Those who prefer something fancier, can take satin pants. The casual look is achieved with cotton pants.

Pants are preferred with a distinctive pattern. Therefore it’s clear: This trend needs a good dose of courage! But what clothes can be combined with a pajama pants?

Since the pants brings much attention (that’s for sure), the other pieces should create a balance. So for example you can wear a narrow upper part to create a contrast to the wirde pajama pants. Also, a white blouse can be worn to. If you take pants with a distinctive pattern, you should be reserved with the other clothes. This means to wear clothes with only one clolour. You can wear a nice blazer, which gives the outfit a great chic and don’t forget high shoes, e.g. pumps or high heels.

Blazer: Second Female | POWDER – Blazer – black (ca. 60 €)

Blouse: LA CITY | MAMBO – Tunika – blanc (ca. 35 €)

Pyjama pants: Tommy Hilfiger | RAFAELA – Wäsche – grey heather (ca. 50 €)

Pumps: Zign | Pumps – black (ca. 70 €)

But what interested me the most of course: What do you think of this trend? Would you wear something like that on the street? Or do you think this trend is totally nonsense. I’m curious ;)

llgf on the Stijl 2012 in Mainz

On Saturday morning Yuki, Bekiko and I went to the Stijl in Mainz and it was bitter cold. Even in the morning hundred of peoples stand in front of the old post camp to be one of the first and to get hold of the best pieces. The best things are off early and other booths have special offers and reduced items to the fair, which are sold out quickly.

But the Stijl offers more than just discounted fashion. Even more it is a platform for trends and styles of young designers. In recent years, the Stijl  seems to grow and is fun for young and old. I noticed that also the older generation takes place at the event. Maybe this duw to the jewelry designer or artists, who sell accessories that make up a large part in the hall.

Who is looking for a fancy T-shirt, a nice piece of jewelry or a little gimmick to give away is at the right place: the Stijl. Although the Stijl itself sees as the center for fashion, sports and design in the Rhein-Main area, for high fashion you are looking without avail. A visit is definitely value.

Here are some impressions of the fair, which has open their doors the whole weekend .

shopping gems

Two new shopping gems: both with stars. I love the scarf with stars. The delicate color combined with black stars has taken a shine to me. The fabric is very fine and the fact that the scarf is so long makes it possible to wrap it several times around the neck.

Scarf with stars by Only (ca. 17 €)

Suitable for that I’ve found on the same day a star ring. It actually are two narrow rings (one matte and one glossy). Sometimes I only wear one. So it looks a little more discreet.
