Short in the front and long in the back

No! Not on the head, but in form of summer dresses and skirts. These are now wearing short in the front and long in the back. This can be combined with pumps or wedges. For a style break you can combine it with jackets and boots. A clutch as bag fits best.

Cut-outs

Maybe you have noticed it: the trend for belly tops is back. Now I’ve found a slightly more elegant way of showing some skin: cut-outs. Granted – it is still some courage needed. The whole thing is mitigated by transparent materials. I think it is especially nice when it used with fluttering garments.

So if the weather is slowly getting better and will decide to stay good, you can wear the pretty clothes very well. As a party dress it guarantees an eye-catcher.

What 2012 brings us – Part 1: pastel

What will we wear in 2012? We have dealt more accuratet with this issue. How sould the things be wear? With which things can they be combined and the most important question: Which are the must haves and were can I buy it? I will present you the trends of 2012 in several parts. Today: pastel.

The pastel colors are coming! Marc Jabobs at Louis Vuitton demonstrated it for us. Fine fabrics like lace is worn in pastel shades and this reminds us a little bit of sweets. But this is not bad, because which girl does not like a light, sweet, almost elfin look? In addition, these sweet soft colors and fabrics introduce great for spring. Here all the soft colors are worn: light yellow, delicate blue, mint green, rose and cream-beige.

How to combine these?
Pastel colors are very soft and light and should therefore not be combined with other colours. Use one tone for the whole outfit (eg. nude) or combined similar shades:

Benetton | Strickjacke – cream (ca. 60 €)

Ana Alcazar |  BATYA – Kleid – nude (ca. 110 €)

Anna Field | Pumps – make up (ca. 30 €)

American Vintage | BIG SKY COUNTRY – Pullover – blanc (ca. 100 €)

True Religion | CAMERON – Hose – stone grey (ca. 230 €)

seven seconds | Pumps – sand (ca. 50 €)

Which fabrics are used?
These light colors naturally lend themselves to transparent materials. But even slight falling materials and lace support this delicate look.

My favorite pieces?
I had a look around once again and found really nice pieces. I already falled in love with the the sand-colored pumps from seven seconds (see above) :)

Red, red, red are all my clothes…

I recently saw something new on the streets of Berlin. Now everyone is all dressed in red – from coat to shoes.

The monochromatic look is striking and the good news is: in the morning, you do not have to worry whether the colours of your garments actually match ;)

I collected the finest parts in red. So happy combining!
